Well thats a wrap. Huge thank you to all my helpers! Without Chris and Manuel I would still be out there picking up tape and poles. I forget every year how much time it takes to put on an event, even a small one like Robidoux Roundup CX. Thank you to Nate and Trevor for coming out and helping set up also.

I will have to look at the ouside calender a little more careful next year, attendence was very low, but we definitely made up for it with quality. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR COMING UP!!!!!!!!

I hope you enjoyed the course as much as I like creating it (minus the hours of work flagging it)!

Race Day is Tomorrow!!!!

1. Course is dialed in and heading out to tape it today.

2. I highly suggest you get at least one lap pre-ride in before your race. Have some technical sections where the right line will make a big difference.

3. I updated the flyer (again, I am sorry) yesterday. I needed to split up the Jr races from the women's. I don't feel a 9 year old can carry a 30 lb bike up the run up (not all of them anyway; #finnness) so I am routeing the Jr.s around the run up.

This change is going to push back all races from Jr's on 30 min, no big deal. I apologize for the inconvenience (if there was one).

I am very excited to see what everyone thinks of the course I think its by far the best one yet!!!!

Hyde Park

I know that St. Joe is a little bit of a drive for the KC/Lawrence CX racers. But let me tell you, this park was made for cyclocross!!! 

Not really, but its perfect!

Here are some pics I took today. The topography makes it one of the most unique race courses of the season.

The run up (steeper than it appears) *Jr's will route around it, kinda hard for a 10 year old + 35 lbs bike

Unique topography, we will utilize virtually everything. Have some new features brewing in my melon.

Exit; don't think I am going to let it be rideable this year (you masters racers who found a line!!)
